Steve Dewitt

Steve is one of the city’s most loved and best known broadcasters. He was resident DJ at the legendary Top Rank discotheque on the Kingsway and many other nightclubs across the area before getting his break on Swansea Sound in 1976. During his first long stint there, he presented every prime time show on the schedule before leaving for the BBC to work on TV and radio in the early 90’s. However, he returned for a second spell a decade later and hosted the last ever local programme on the station before it was swallowed up by a national network. Now he gets to reconnect with the audience he adores so much on Welsh Coast Radio
