Leen and Jim

'Leen and Jim, the duo behind  “Classical Threads”. are Eileen Foulkes-Boyt and James Laws, who are also the songwriting partnership behind Carmarthen based band Rookery Lane. Both are classically trained pianists and both play the guitar and sing.

When not performing or writing, Eileen is a keen genealogist, baker, history researcher and Husky mum, while James writes plays, poetry and paints portraits and landscapes in a variety of mediums; Oils, and acrylics and water colours. Both live in Carmarthenshire having lived and worked in other parts of the country previously.
