Rob Pendry
Swansea born, Rob joined the first local radio station in Wales, Swansea Sound in 1983, initially hosting the popular Sunday morning show ‘Weekend Rendezvous’, before presenting all the mainline shows, becoming Head of Music and then Head of Programmes in 1994.
His distinctive smooth voice has been heard interviewing many famous people over the years including the Beach Boys, 10CC and the Eagles and on many holiday programmes and radio documentaries.
Rob continues to entertain and DJ around the area and has built up a loyal following around South Wales with his unique and friendly style, utilising both his vast local experience and musical knowledge. He’s passionate about radio and invites you to join him for his ‘Midweek Rendezvous’ every Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm on Welsh Coast Radio
