Mark Ford

Mark's loved music from a young age, growing up listening to the timeless sounds of Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and The Carpenters.

A proud local boy, Mark was born and raised in Penyrheol/Pontardulais and now lives in nearby Penllergaer — so he’s never strayed too far from home!

His passion for radio began in 2009, when he spotted an advert for a local community radio station and decided to give it a go. What started as an opportunity quickly became a passion, and over the next eight years, Mark found himself right at home behind the microphone.

It was also during his time on air that he met fellow presenter Charlotte. The pair fell in love, married, and eventually welcomed their first child. 

Now, 10 years on, Mark's back behind the microphone with a renewed passion for radio — and an even bigger love for country music.

He’s delighted to be back doing what he loves and can’t wait to share his passion for great music with listeners once again.
